Job Title:         Policy and Community Engagement Intern

Position Summary:

The intern will support The Ervin Academy (TEA) Policy and Community Engagement department in research; assisting in focus groups; community services, and marketing TEA.

FLSA Status:  Non-Exempt
Supervisory Responsibilities:  No

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Schedule interviews and focus groups; Serve as recorder and scribe for focus groups, interviews and committee meetings; Coordinates, schedules and assists with training/orientation marketing, communications, publications, catering and registration for TEA events; Creates and maintain databases; Maintains and updates web site content; Organize and enter assessment data; Generate reports and correspondence related to data with supervisor; Assist with training and development initiatives and programs; Conducts research based on assignment; Assists with other duties as assigned or as directed.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
Junior or Senior in a four-year college or university
 
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have working knowledge and experience in:  Internet Explorer; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Outlook; Microsoft Word; Microsoft PowerPoint; Windows Operating System.
