Our Academy


The mission of The Ervin Academy is to provide programs and services that are academically rigorous, character and socially developmental to ensure an increase in the number of male high school graduates.  Each student will be equipped with the skills necessary to have an opportunity to pursue a college education, post secondary training, or pursue a professional career with the technical and soft skills necessary to be competitive in today’s employment and business market.

The Ervin Environment


Uniform Dress Code

Students are required to wear the Academy navy blue jackets, white collar shirts, blue tie, brown khaki pants and brown/black shoes.  Staff and faculty are required to wear brown khaki pants and the Academy white collar shirt along with brown/black shoes.


Communication Standards

Each student, faculty and staff member will greet the other by utilizing their “sir” names.  (i.e. Mrs., Mr. and Ms.)
